Can we predict the future? Of course, not. Everything in the world is entirely deterministic but it is also very chaotic, making the future unpredictable. If you have the ability to predict the future, it means that every future action is predetermined in every way, and you won’t have free will which has the ability to make decisions that are not predetermined. However, personally, I believe that all human activity in the social system is determined by prior actions/causes, and in fact, it is very difficult to find an argument for free will.
